Now we are going back into lockdown 2.0, what new skills can I learn?

2020 has been a strange year for many of us with us all either being affected in health due to the virus, business in terms of work and seeing friends and/or family due to social distancing to combat the spread of the virus which has ensured that all of these have had to take place. Because the spread of the virus hasn’t slowed down at all, the UK government has now informed us that we will be going into a second national lockdown and therefore this has now given us the chance to spend more time at home again and to attempt to learn new skills – we look at some of the most popular today.

How about looking to take up a new hobby with poker or roulette on online casinos? Many experts have seen a rise in numbers on online casinos during the lockdown because many haven’t been able to take part in their usual hobbies and therefore have turned to online alternative like online casinos to ensure that they can stay entertained. Poker and roulette are quite simple game to be able to be picked up and with UK players still being accepted on these casinos, they are the perfect sites to get started with.

Other activities during lockdown that have been popular has been running – at the height of the lockdown, many of us have been confided to only 1 hour of exercise per day and many utilised this through the use of running. Running is one of the best ways to ensure that we can keep fit during lockdown and has therefore proves to be a catalyst for the fitness kick during these unprecedented times and apps like Strava have been perfect for us to be able to track our progress.

Another activity that many have been taking part in during lockdown has been improving their photography skills. This again has been a great skill to learn during lockdown as it can still be practised whilst social distancing if you are doing it alone and with social media being such a huge platform now, who wouldn’t want to take better photos for them to share?

And finally, now that we are living in the digital age, why not learn a skill dominated by technology like coding. Coding is seriously important when it comes to building and coding websites and now with many guides online, you now don’t need a degree to become a developer. There are thousands of online programming courses online that will allow you to learn the basics during this lockdown.
